Children's Ministry
We love children and believe they are a blessing from God. Jesus said, "Let all the children come to me." Our desire and goal is to point children to Jesus; that they will know Him and His great love, and that they will learn to follow Him.
Children's ChurchDuring our Thursday evening service is when we have our Children's Church. After singing the opening song, children ages 2 to 12 head upstairs to the Children's Church room with our teachers Mariah, Hannah, and Emily. The time starts out with everyone singing together and sharing prayer requests and answers to prayer. After that, they are broken up into younger and older groups for a Bible lesson. At the end they enjoy activities and snacks together.

Children's StoryEach Sunday Morning service we have a special time for a children's story. All children are welcome to come up to the front where Doris, Emily, or Hannah share exciting yet challenging lessons on a level that the children can easily understand. Even the adults enjoy getting truth and encouragement out of the children's stories.

NurseryWe welcome children to stay with their parents during the services. However, a nursery is available for children three and under if needed. The room is equipped with a TV so the service can still be watched. Nursery workers are available for anyone who would like to leave their children to play so they can enjoy the service. Speak to one of our helpful ushers when you arrive for more details.

Assisted Living MinistryThe fourth Sunday of each month we have our evening service at Northwoods Commons Assisted Living Home which starts at 5:30 PM. It's a great chance to get to encourage and reach out to the residents while we enjoy doing church together.
|
Prayer MinistryWe believe in the power of prayer and it is very important to us. Because of this, we have some kind of prayer meeting every day at KCF. You'll find the times of these meetings at the bottom of our Service Times page.
