We love children and believe they are a blessing from God. Jesus said, "Let all the children come to me." Our desire and goal is to point children to Jesus; that they will know Him and His great love, and that they will learn to follow Him.
During our Thursday evening service is when we have our Children's Church. After singing the opening song, children ages 2 to 12 head upstairs to the Children's Church room with our teachers Mariah, Hannah, and Emily. The time starts out with everyone singing together and sharing prayer requests and answers to prayer. After that, they are broken up into younger and older groups for a Bible lesson. At the end they enjoy activities and snacks together.
Each Sunday Morning service we have a special time for a children's story. All children are welcome to come up to the front where Doris, Mariah, or Hannah share exciting yet challenging lessons on a level that the children can easily understand. Even the adults enjoy getting truth and encouragement out of the children's stories.
We welcome children to stay with their parents during the services. However, a nursery is available for children three and under if needed. The room is equipped with a speaker so the service can still be heard. Nursery workers are available for anyone who would like to leave their children to play so they can enjoy the service. Speak to one of our helpful ushers when you arrive for more details.
Assisted Living Ministry
The fourth Sunday of each month we have our evening service at Northwoods Commons Assisted Living Home which starts at 5:30 PM. It's a great chance to get to encourage and reach out to the residents while we enjoy doing church together.
Bi-monthly, our men get together to enjoy Christian fellowship, food, and encouraging one another to be real men of God. Usually each year the men get together for a Men and Boys Camp-out as well.
We believe in the power of prayer and it is very important to us. Because of this, we have some kind of prayer meeting every day at KCF. You'll find the times of these meetings at the bottom of our Service Times page.
Also bi-monthly, our women meet together to encourage one another. Every other year, together we attend the True Woman Conference sponsored by Revive Our Hearts.
Kokomo Rescue Mission
The third Friday of every month, Pastor Nicky preaches to the men at the Kokomo Rescue Mission. Several members from the congregation join him to worship with, pray for, and encourage the men.
Pastor Schultze has a radio ministry on WWKI (100.5 FM) each Sunday morning at 9:00 AM. Tune in to hear encouraging 15 minute messages each week. Click here to listen to the radio messages online.
We take part in the ministry of Revive Indiana where churches come together to reach out to our city. This includes bi-monthly community services, outreach, and community prayer meetings. You can go to ReviveIndiana.org for more information or visit the ReviveIndiana: Kokomo page.
Our KCF Jail Teams look forward to the times we lead services at the Howard County Jail. Men and women's services are held separately, and members of KCF organize music, a Bible lesson, and prayer for the people at the jail. To be a part of this ministry requires a background check and training with the Jail. We also have a prison ministry- a five week Bible study- at Miami Correctional Facility.
Call To Obedience Ministry
